First Songs

With each song I have also linked the lyrics. When I can find it I will add the video.

 For the country song this month Pandora chose The Highway Don't Care by Tim McGraw.  I am not one to listen to much country music but I have really started to like this song. Here is my take on the song...

For this months pop song Pandora chose When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars. I had to do some digging in this song for some inspiration.

The rock song chosen by Pandora is Addicted by Saving Able. I truly debated about even using this song. In the end I decided if I didn't use the songs Pandora picks then I will end up only  scrapping what I know and like. That would defeat the purpose of getting out of my comfort zone. I have an idea in my head I want to do but I cant seem to get it on the paper the way I want.




The kids song Pandora picked is Can You Feel the Love Tonight from The Lion King Musical. I had to get the lyrics and audio from 2 different places so here is the audio.


Lastly, the scanner picked an oldies song. The Wanderer by Dion.

As you can see I have not made a project for each song.  I need everyone's help with that. Pick a song, put a link on the comments and I will add it to inspire others.

I have had a ton of feed back about this and I have taken some of your ideas for this.

To start, we will have 5 different challenges each month. Which means we will have 5 music categories to choose from. You can do all 5 or just 1. Our music channels will be: Pop, Rock, Country, Kids and Scan. For the Scan category it will be just like if you put your car radio on scan and something random comes up.

Next, all the songs will be posted on the 1st of the month. for now these will be open ended challenges. This site is to help bring back mojo not make you feel rushed.

You may do any craft you are inspired to do. It could be cake decorating, layout, card or even a scarf you knitted because the colors fit how you feel when you hear  the song.....ANYTHING!

There is no limit to how many times you use each song. We want you to be inspired to and help inspire others.

All we ask is if you are inspired by 1 of our challenges you will add a link here on your blog and put a direct link to your project in our comments so we can be inspired by you.

I dont know about you but I cant remember ever scrapping without music going in the background. I am going to be starting a new challenge blog with music as the inspiration.

Just to start I want to know if any one interested. Soon I will be asking for applications for the design team. You can get your applications in early by picking 2 of your favorite projects from the past and 1 project that you were inspired by a song. I ask that you let me know what song you used for inspiration. I look forward to everyone's feedback.
